Daniel Aleksov – Principal
Daniel Aleksov, principal and co-founder of Leading Edge Building Engineers, is a seasoned Professional Engineer with 15 years of experience in the industry. Daniel's expertise and leadership have been instrumental in driving the success of the company and delivering innovative engineering solutions to our clients.
Anthony La Torre – Principal
Anthony La Torre, principal and co-founder of Leading Edge Building Engineers, has been instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of the company's day-to-day operations. With 13 years of industry experience, Anthony is committed to delivering excellence and driving continuous improvement.
Kevin Abdi – Project Manager
Kevin joined in April of 2021 and is an experienced Leading Edge Building Engineering project manager. He specializes in construction administration and overseeing various projects, including the restoration of the parking garage and building envelope, balcony repairs, and similar concrete work.
Brandon Gemme, P.Eng., BSS, CPHD – Project Manager
Brandon Gemme is a highly experienced Project Manager, bringing over 7 years of industry experience to his role. His expertise in building restoration and project management, with a specific focus on building envelope engineering and thermal modeling, make him a valuable asset to our team. Brandon has contributed to professional associations and conferences through his research and publications, demonstrating his commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest industry advancements.
Preet Chauhan – Senior Project Associate
Preet Chauhan is a Senior Project Associate with Leading Edge Building Engineers. She is important to the success of many of our projects through her developing project management and design skills. With a commitment to staying at the forefront of her field, Preet is currently pursuing the Building Science Specialist (BSS) and professional engineer (P.Eng) designations
Cameron Roll – Project Associate
Cameron Roll works as a Project Associate for Leading Edge Building Engineers. He is the newest member of the team and his responsibilities include conducting site visits, drafting reports and specifications and supporting the project managers. Cameron graduated from the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University in 2020.
Asal Ahmadipanah – Project Coordinator
Asal, who joined the team in the summer of 2023, is a Project Coordinator at Leading Edge Building Engineers. She holds a bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering and is a graduate of Tehran Islamic Azad University. Asal plays a pivotal role in the drafting and preparing of drawing details for a variety of technical projects as well as assisting the team on contract preparation and on-site construction field reviews.
Michael Aleksov – Project Associate
Michael Aleksov has a Master’s degree in Business Management and over 10 years of experience in building and maintaining client relationships across multiple industries. Michael assists with the management of day to day business operations and presents high level solutions to clients, while routinely entertaining team members with his unique sense of humour.
